Blind Golf Canada is a not-for-profit organization led by volunteers who tirelessly work putting on events. It is not easy, it takes a lot of time, and it requires support. Support so that we may continue to provide quality, blind golf opportunities to our members, old and new. Support so we can continue our charitable efforts. It can’t be done without sponsors and organizations contributing.
Here is the reality. These tournaments and events are an investment in the well-being of blind or partially-sighted persons. Being able to join a blind sporting community not only improves the quality of life, but it helps build a greater sense of belonging amongst people with disabilities that have the same lived experiences. The same sense of pride in being who they are, and in this case, that is a blind golfer that counts the days and hours down in anticipation of these events. It matters that much, to so many.
You have clicked on this page for a reason. You are thinking about what you can do to help. Whether it be a private donation, or from a business or corporate entity perspective, sponsorship ensures blind golf can grow. You are investing in a person, and persons with limited eye sight whom might otherwise never have had the chance to play and discover the competition, camaraderie and friendship that golf has to offer.
Every donation is greatly appreciated and accepted no matter the amount. We, like many other blind sport groups, are recovering from the challenges of COVID. Whatever amount you feel comfortable giving, one time or an annual contribution, or if you wish to become one of our corporate partners, we are grateful. We would love to hear from you. 100% of all funds received are used for Blind Golf Canada events, programs, membership, and awareness campaigns.
Sponsoring Blind Golf Canada includes recognition and visibility at all of our events, and includes acknowledgement on the official Blind Golf Canada website, as well as appreciation on all BGC podcasts. Customized sponsorship packages can be designed to achieve an organization’s marketing, PR, and community involvement objectives.
