OBG BGC 2022 – Blind Golf II

A blind golfer stands facing the direction he wishes to hit. He has his club in front of him and his coach is standing right behind him giving him directions. This is a very common technique for many blind golfers.
A beautiful sunny day, on a scenic golf hole with a tree in the background at The Greens at Renton. Two volunteers, with big smiles are wearing red bibs with a BGC maple leaf log and the words 'Blind Golf Canada Volunteer.'
In 2022, BGC held the ISPS Handa Canadian Open Blind Golf Championship held at The Greens at Renton in Simcoe, Ontario. Lots of sunny blue skies, trees and green space. The two volunteers have their volunteer bibs on, with the bibs proudly declaring their BGC volunteer roles and support for blind golfers participating in the event.
Two golfers are walking on a green approaching the hole. A blind coach in a white shirt, is guiding a B1 golfer using a putter. The putter acts as a stick that helps direct the blind golfer.
